MLG Program

What is the MLG E-Book?

We’ve put the complete Move Learn Grow program into an e-book with 42 sessions ready to go and set out in an easy to read and follow format!

This is designed to cover a full Australian school year. Our program has been trialled and tested with positive results in all participating students. It’s perfect for PE Teachers or Occupational Therapists to expand their movement for kids’ knowledge base. We cater to both Primary and Early Childhood settings.

Move Learn Grow has been performed as a before school program. This sets up the child’s day and ensures they can focus throughout the day.

Schools can purchase the program and run the program as a before or after school program, or use the exercises within their curriculum.

With the book you also receive a printing pack for you to easily print out any resources that are needed as well as over 20 pages covering the fundamental and core principles that Move Learn Grow covers.

How to Run the Program

The MLG program supports children to develop a strong sense of identity, belonging and wellbeing through movement-based learning experiences that encourage confidence, inclusion and respectful relationships.

Children are supported to understand how their bodies move, interact positively with others, negotiate during play and celebrate personal achievements. Through consistent routines, social modelling and collaborative activities, children build communication skills, patience, kindness and resilience while developing a sense of belonging within the group environment. The program also encourages children to appreciate diversity, listen to others and participate in group experiences that strengthen social awareness and emotional regulation.

What we Have Found

Over the 42 sessions the activities go up in difficulty and complexity. This helps strengthen collaborative learning experiences, enhance attention, task persistence and problem-solving skills, helping children become confident, flexible and engaged learners.

Through fun, play-based movement activities, children develop foundational motor skills, sensory integration, balance, coordination and core strength, supporting both physical wellbeing and cognitive development. The program provides opportunities for children to take appropriate risks, explore sensory experiences and connect movement with literacy and numeracy concepts.

Communication is further strengthened through shared activities, social interaction and language-rich experiences that encourage children to express themselves effectively and learn from one another.
